COVID-19 Update

Yoga and meditation are globally
known as the ultimate stress relievers.  As we cautiously emerge from the
COVID-19 pandemic phases, Peace of Mind & Body Yoga & Wellness seeks to
welcome back former students as well as new members where you will enjoy a safe
“suite” environment to escape the stress of these times.  

Upon arrival, we will check your temperature,
provide sanitizer, and ask you about any symptoms or situations to ensure the
safety of yourself and the other members in the class.  From there, you
will be provided a private suite within the studio with clear plastic, sheer
lined safety dividers spaced 8 feet apart.

In addition to the yoga classes, we provide
a variety of private therapeutic massages including Thai Yoga Massage, Reiki
Therapy Massage and a variety of modalities of traditional massages.

Restorative Yoga & Thai Massage Workshop

Friday, November 13th
Two Sessions 5:30 PM & 6:30 PM

Thai Massage is an ancient form of bodywork used to balance the body and mind. When combined with Restorative Yoga, offers a full body treatment that provides many benefits including:

  • Relieving tension & stress
  • Increased flexibility
  •  Calming the nervous system
  • Improving blood circulation

Participants will enjoy a session that combines Restorative Yoga poses and postures with flexing and stretching of Thai Massage practices

Unfounded Fears

Life is about overcoming fear and taking risks. If you don’t take risks, you won’t know what you’re capable of. If you don’t risk anything, you risk everything. Truth be told, nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to expand your comfort zone so you can experience things and understand more… so that you may fear less in the long run.

The reality, of course, is we all get afraid sometimes. It’s not about being afraid, but what you do when you feel that way. When you feel doubt, or fear, or anxiety, or frustration, know that you can let it go as surely as you can pull your hand away from a flame. Keep your mind focused on the goodness, on the possibilities and on your most treasured goals. What begins in your mind ends up in your life. Think continually of the way you would like to be, let these thoughts drive your actions, and your reality will reliably catch up with your thinking. (Read Daring Greatly.)

Wine & Wellness

Wine & Wellness Yoga is a fun and gentle introduction to basic breathing principles, pose alignment, meditation and relaxation. After the yoga, enjoy the included glass of wine.

Yoga has the potential to influence every part of your being and help you to create a more balanced, healthy body, calm mind and deeper connection to your soul or intuition.
